In most cases, UFOs are test flights of government military and surveillance craft, ball lighting, or matter burning up in our atmosphere. We have never been visited by aliens from planets beyond ours in the traditional sense. However, we have planted into the minds of civilians that this possible through pop culture and false reports.

The reason why? We occasionally need to cover up Hildie flights over populated areas. Thankfully, most Hildie self-locomotion moves so fast that those that spot them see only a blur. That allows us to report the sighting as just about anything.

Also, the human mind is a great asset as it will fill in the blanks choosing flying saucer over a woman on broom any day.
